Life is like a camera
Focus on what is important
Capture the good times
Develop the negatives
and if things don't work out.....
Just take another shot.

I don't usually post anything political but someone sent me this today and I think it is very funny!
Mother sent me this layout she made with one of Kristin's ultrasound photos, very nice!
Kristin sent me this pic as she and her girlfriends head out to the Bahamas, so jealous!
Kristin and friends went to Miami to run in the ING Miami Half Marathon. They are then headed to the Bahamas on a cruise ship!
This is my first grandchild! I am so excited and patiently waiting to meet her in person! Due date is 6/23/2013.
I've finally started those baby bump photos. I need to work on my photography skills! Kristin is 19 weeks into her pregnancy. According to the "What to Expect" app on my phone, the baby is as big as a mango (6 inches, .5 lbs). The countdown is 21 weeks to go!
It took quite a pile of extra stuff to keep warm on my ride to work today. It was 21 degrees, wind chill made it feel 15 degrees. I haven't ridden in this much cold for a long time and I am pretty proud of myself!
Mother sent me this photo of 3 young bald eagles on the ice. They were fighting over a small fish. She said it was like they were dancing around playing and they were having a hard time walking on the ice. They were right off the end of the dock so she took this from inside the porch through the screen door.
JoAnne asked if I wanted to go to a movie with her and a friend. I probably wouldn't have chosen this movie but I really enjoyed it! I need to go more often now that I am able to claim the "senior" discount!
Kristin and her girlfriends at work love owls. One of them spotted this book in the giftshop, so I was sent to get it. For the record, this is the 3rd baby book I have purchased so far.
Sierra sent me this photo of her at CX Nationals taken by Andy Paskins. I think that Sierra has a little grin on her face after passing this girl dressed as a Russian cosmonaut wildly cheering her on! Special thanks to Andy for getting this great photo for me since I couldn't be there this year!
Maggie and I met for lunch yesterday and she gave me this cute necklace from The Animal Rescue Site. She said it reminded her of a photo I had sent her of my kittens. I love it!
The day after CX Nationals, mud thaws and drops to the floor...
I didn't go to Madison this year for CX Nationals, so here is how I watched the races. Same course as last year but the conditions were much more challenging!
It was in the mid 60's today! There were lots of people out including next door neighbor Bill, Dallas the pup, Sabrina the kitten, and Harley the motorcycle.
First contractor visit today; less than successful. I'd like to keep this original tile in the bathroom, we'll see what happens.
This is Chris and Kristin's new home. I walked over to take a pic, it so nice being close! They moved in December 21, 2012.
Wow, what a difference the new windows make! The installers worked on getting finished up today but didn't quite get completely done with all the work.
Kristin and Chris picked me up for a trip to the salvage yard. There is no telling what you might find there!
House inspection day! No surprises... I'm going to move forward with this little project!
Kristin finally had time to deliver Sierra's birthday gift. I am not at all surprised that she chose this Boston Terrier bag!
A friend at work told me about Cooper the Bear. I was able to find one for "Baby Cooper", it doesn't look like they are being produced any longer. He didn't arrive in time for Christmas but he is here now!
