On our last day in Puerto Rico, I was lucky to photograph this little flycatcher sitting in a pine tree at Balneario De Luquillo. Page kit is "Little Prince" by Je-Mi

Here's Miss Kittie in a Starbucks sack. A nap in a sack is the best rest of all. Page kit is a combination of "Because You Are Beautiful" and "Vintage Bliss" by Lynn Griffin.

This little beach was next to the Bosque Estatal De Ceiba near Fajardo, Puerto Rico. The water was so beautiful, changing color from clear over the rocky shore to aqua and then the rich blue of the Caribbean. Page kit is "Dream It, Be It" by Doreen Stolz.

On our last day in Puerto Rico, we visited Playa Luquillo. We enjoyed local fare for lunch under the shade of palm trees, then went walking to explore the beautiful beach. Page kit is "Sweetheart" by Linda Cumberland found at The Scrapping Garden.

I had been wanting to see an iguana while out sight seeing our last day in Puerto Rico. In Iowa, we have lots of road kill, rabbits, possum, raccoon, you know. Here Iguana are road kill very often. We took a wrong turn down a narrow residential street and were in the process of turning around when out he came! He stood looking at the car for a little bit then went across the street and down some steps near a house. Page kit is "One Perfect Moment" by Lynn Griffin at Digital Scrap Boutique.

These little orchids were growing on a tree trunk in the tropical forest near the Camuy Caves south of Arecibo, Puerto Rico. They were about quarter size. Page kit is "Unforgettable" by Lynn Griffin at Digital Scrap Boutique.

I really love this photo of Rich during our trip to Cabo San Lucas in January, 2008. I used a freebie from Linda Cumberland. Her kits are beautiful and she is very generous with various freebies on her blog which is HERE. They will make you want all of her kits!

3/11/08 - Day #1 in Puerto Rico. On the way to pick up our rental car, the bus driver was quick to point out this iguana to us. He was perched on a tree branch next to Hertz Car Rental. He also explained how the iguanas get run over regularly by vehicles in the area. He said he tries to protect them by placing barriers so that they don't crawl under the fence onto the road. March 12, 2008 - Day #2 in Puerto Rico: My feet are almost as white as the sand here on Playa Sucia near Cabo Rojo lighthouse. The page is made from "Unforgettable" by Lynn Griffin.

Here's my two best friends, Maggie and Shelby at a BMX race in Phoenix in January. It was a "girls" weekend. We arrived 2 days before the race, traveled to the Grand Canyon and Sedona and had a wonderful time! This page was made from a kit by Doreen Stolz.
