Life is like a camera
Focus on what is important
Capture the good times
Develop the negatives
and if things don't work out.....
Just take another shot.

Today, Remy and I helped install the new doors at my house. We also helped the electrician wire the kitchen and install ceiling fans. We actually played on the tail gate of my truck, who needs a playpen when G'ma has a truck?
I got a good photo of the eagles on their nest at the lake, everyone is excited that they are here!
Guess who is 30 years old today? We went to San Juan's to celebrate after IU won their basketball game!
We had to wait for a table at Moby Dick's this evening. We all had fish of course!
I found this Snowy Egret at Leona Turnbull birding center in Port Aransas. I love watching them fish, they wiggle their yellow feet to stir up the little fish and then snatch them up.
Another unusual sight this trip is these Red Heads all congregated together in a pond in between the park headquarters and Malaquite. The bank of the pond was nearly solid with the Red Heads with a small number of Blue Wing Teal and turtles.
This is the first time I have been able to photograph the Crested Caracara. I've seen them every day this trip.
I love watching the Reddish Egrets fish. They raise their wings to shadow the water so they can see their prey easier. It is like a dance they do, fascinating to watch!
Thule seems to LOVE the beach! He enjoys running on the flat sand and kicking it up with his hind legs. We rode over to Malaquite where all the beachcombers loved seeing him ride in the front basket on my bike.
I drove until about 3AM, slept for a little while and then was at Snoopy's by 11AM! Then, out to Bird Island where the wind was blowing and I surfed for the afternoon, perfect.....
Big day today! Closed on the Indianapolis house, closed on the Indianola land. Then, Thule and I had our first vacation treat. We were on the road to Corpus Christi by 11:00 AM.
A friend sent this to me today - that's all I can say.....
One display at the flower show had pots and pots of blooming orchids!
I went to the flower and patio show today. I really like this table made of old barn wood and beams but not sure if I want it for my house.

I have decided on these windows. Not sure about the decorative glass but I might choose that on some of them.

I always have plenty of help when I want to work on my computer.
I saw this today and it made me smile, switching to daylight savings time never bothers me, but apparently it causes  problems for some people!
This is a good reason why kitchen cabinets should go all the way to the ceiling!
24 weeks, the baby is as big as an eggplant (9 inches, 1.7 lbs) per my iphone app!
On my way to get new tires put on this morning and was behind this van at a stoplight. I thought I should take a pic for hopeful future reference.
Sierra and Cody got within 30 minutes of arriving to race today and it was canceled due to a "pop up" blizzard! Too bad, they were after some of the great prize money offered. Sierra was excited to see the women's payout matched the men's!
Ughh, tires are ordered! The should last the rest of the truck's life, I hope.....
A coworker asked me how my crocheting was going so I took a pic of it to show. I'm trying to figure out how I would like to finish this queen size afghan. I need to get it done before it gets warm outside!
The windows are finally done all around the house! The nasty weather this winter caused a few delays and it is great to have the window work all complete.
Mother sent me this photo taken by Doug the caretaker at the lake. He had discovered where the eagles were nesting. How wonderful it is that they chose the lake for their home. I've taken some great photos of them in the trees on the other side of the lake near Mother's house.
The big winter storm was kind to Mother at the lake. Wichita got over 14 inches!
Kristin and Chris went to the Adidas sale at the fairgrounds. They found these cute little toddler outfits for little Baby Cooper!
I benefited from Sierra's decision to make blueberry pancakes this morning! She and I both got up early for grocery shopping and exercise, then had these for "brunch" around 11AM.
Tonight, I was invited to a birthday celebration for Chris' dad and brother-in-law. It was held at a relative's restaurant. The food just coming and coming! It was a wonderful time with lots of family!
I guess I should get new tires before my trip to Texas, hate buying stuff like that!
YAY! I received an offer on my property in Iowa late Sunday night and signed the final agreement today. Closing will be on or about March 15, 2013. This couldn't have happened at a better time.....
My first baby clothes purchase! I am pretty proud of myself for waiting so long, these will be needed winter/spring of 2014.....
It looks like Sierra and Cody are having a good time riding in the Ozarks! Thanks to them for stopping long enough to send me a pic, they know how much I love them!
Sierra sent me this pic today. She and Cody are headed to Arkansas for a weekend of riding. I hope they stay safe and have lots of fun!
Today, I am hoping that these beautiful roses last quite a few days! Kristin gave them to me for Valentine's Day. Everyday, I am so thankful for my two beautiful daughters, they are such precious gifts!
I came home from work today to a wonderful Valentine from Sierra - her specialty, home baked cookies, absolutely yummy!
I just love these e cards, some days they just state the obvious (in my opinion).
Kristin sent me a pic of her early Valentine's present from Chris. I'll need to get over there and take a better photo!
New chair and ottoman, Thule and "pregnant lady" approved!
I got to go with Chris and Kristin to register for gifts for their baby shower that is going to be in April. Wow, babies "need" a lot of stuff these days!
A new car for the Cooper/Siebenlist family! It is a Subaru Impreza, they picked me up for Mexican lunch after only going "to look" at cars...isn't that the way it goes?
I found this great photo of Katie racing at Worlds, I'm not sure who took it. Katie finished 10th! What a great cross season she has had!
