Here's my favorite wildlife photo from last weekend. I went to Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Charleston. This particular alligator was in a freshwater pond next to the Ashley River. Prior to the Civil War, the rice field was planted and harvested by slaves that worked the plantation.
