Life is like a camera
Focus on what is important
Capture the good times
Develop the negatives
and if things don't work out.....
Just take another shot.

Sierra raced USGP Derby Cup today, she placed 30th. I didn't go this time so this photo is by Cycle Exposure.
Kristin loves pretzel M&Ms so I sometimes grab a bag for cookies or snacking!
I am moving right along with my practice stitch. I think it will be perfect for a baby blanket!
I decided to make some old fashioned beef stew today, added some noodles though. It was pretty good!
Since I have a grandchild on the way, I decided I need to get out the crochet hook and try a new stitch suitable for a baby blanket. I plan on practicing for awhile and then have Kristin pick a color and I'll get started!
I attended an ISETT meeting today and won this gift card. Thank you!
Here's Jessica and Andrea as we all celebrated passing our written exam at the Spaghetti Factory. After this, it is off to working full time starting next week!
So happy to have passed my written exam today. Now - off to celebrate!
This could have been some friends of mine back in the 70's!!

Look at these scabs on my forehead from electrode placement! I didn't think my skin was that sensitive!
Chilly outside today, need to get those new windows ordered!
Mother gave me this blanket after I told her that I washed a similar one and it completely fell apart. This one didn't fall completely apart but it will soon. That must be why they don't make these type of blankets any longer.
Sierra got 7th place today at Bloomingcross in Bloomington, IN.
Sierra got 3rd place today at Team Indiebike's Backyard Cross race. I love this photo!
Got my orange tag today! Now, just gotta pass that written exam.....
Oh, don't I look funny! I was very nervous but passed my clinical exam today!!
Today, we learned that Kyle Bennett was killed last night in a car accident. He was on the very first Olympic BMX squad and present at many of the races we attended. All the younger BMXers looked up to him, he was a great role model and all around nice guy. He will be missed by many.....
Sierra got 11th place today at Gun Club Cross in Miamiville, OH.
Sierra got 2nd place today in Richmond at Team Cycling Fitness Warehouse Cyclocross race.
I know it isn't fall yet, but thought this was cute!
Got Sierra one of these so she could more easily try some pastry baking.
Shamrock Cycles took this pic of Sierra racing at Team Nebo Ridge Cross at Boone County Fairgrounds. She got 4th place today.
Sierra racing at OVCX Caesars Ford in Dayton, OH. She got 7th place today.
A group from work went to watch Jessica perform in "Rocky Horror Picture Show" It was great and I found myself watching Jessica most of the time!

Plants are in for the winter, we'll see how long they stay looking nice and healthy!
Sierra racing at St Mary's Cyclocross race, nice and warm! She got 10th place.
I found this at TJ Maxx, it looks very nice in the living room.
Found this little guy at the hospital today, I think he looks like a penguin!
I think this is a crocus, they are blooming all over the front yard. They must be confused by the rain that we finally got after the summer drought.
They are finally repaving Central Avenue after working for weeks on new sidewalks. Rumor is that the street will become 2-way by the end of October. I'd rather it stay one way.....
While at Mother's, she asked if I wanted this coat. I said no but I knew the perfect person that would love it! I drove home through Des Moines and went to see Becky at work. She was thrilled to say the least and I have no doubt that this coat will be well used after so many years!
What a great visit we had, it was almost like we had never been apart. The last time I saw Margo was in 1998. That is too long and we are both sad that we let life get in the way of our friendship but vow to not let time pass by before we see each other again!
To continue my reunion weekend, Margo came today from Goddard. She was asking me if I had this photo from college. I hadn't found it at home but Mother had it stashed away in a box!
