Day #3 Lake View to Webster City - 82 miles. Very hot again today but a great ride! At the corner of this building, the local firefighters had erected a pool of ice cold water. I didn't get all the way in but did get partially soaked which helped for a few miles. Maggie and I decided against the century loop and were not unhappy with our decision. We had a side on wind until the last 10 miles of the day. We went in and out of the Des Moines river valley near Lehigh that provided some beautiful hills and scenery!
